Joe Shear
Senior Counsel at Google, Content Regulation Legal
Joe Shear is a Senior Counsel on the Content Regulation Legal Team at Google, where he focuses on global content regulations, including the Digital Services Act. He joined Google in 2013, and his prior roles at Google were on the product counsel, intellectual property litigation, and regulatory and investigations teams. Before Google, he was a litigator at Kasowitz, Benson, Torres & Friedman and Weil Gotshal & Manges. He is also happy to return to his alma mater, as he is an HLS ‘08 graduate.
