Chris Murray
Former research fellow in migration at the Institute for Public Policy Research
bio Chris Murray is a migration expert from the UK. He organised the Scottish refugee response following crises in Ukraine and Hong Kong, and chaired Scotland’s national anti-human trafficking body. Previously he was a research fellow in migration at the Institute for Public Policy Research, the UK’s largest progressive think tank. Prior to that he served in government as the migration attaché at the British Embassy in Paris, managing the UK’s second-biggest border. Chris is currently a mid-career MPA candidate at the Harvard Kennedy School, and previously studies at Oxford, the LSE and the Sorbonne.$
