Dagnija Baltiņa

Dagnija Baltiņa is a Master of Public Administration candidate at Harvard Kennedy School, graduating in May 2023. She holds BA degree in history from the University of Latvia and Master degree in World Heritage Studies from Brandenburg Technical University. She is also a PhD candidate in history at the University of Latvia. 2008 - 2016 she was the Secretary General of the Latvian National Commission for UNESCO, and served as the Vice-President of the UNESCO Executive Board 2009 - 2011. Currently she is the Director of the Special Collections Department at the National Library of Latvia, strong advocate for the role of libraries in policy planning and sustainable development.
